beconn AG and Acosom GmbH cooperate for innovative data mesh solutions in an event-driven architecture based on the Avaloq data model

Zurich, 30 April 2025 - beconn AG, a leading Swiss IT consulting and digital transformation company, and Acosom GmbH, a specialist for data-driven architectures, today announced their strategic partnership. Their future collaboration will focus on the development and implementation of innovative data mesh solutions in an event-driven architecture based on the Avaloq data model.

The cooperation unites beconn AG’s profound expertise in the financial services sector and the technological strength and innovative power of Acosom GmbH. The new synergy will support financial institutions in modernising their data architecture while achieving maximum flexibility and scalability.

Data mesh meets event-driven architecture

The concept of data mesh offers decentralised data management. In combination with an event- driven architecture, this enables financial institutions to process data streams in real time and at the same time to strengthen the autonomy of their individual departments. To enable scalable data processing and distribution with a cost-effective infrastructure, Apache Kafka, a proven open-source platform is used.

This model is expanded and integrated into the event-driven architecture, thus enabling the respective financial institutions to utilise their data seamlessly and efficiently.
